Amazing food best cubano in years in bg and the tamales fantastic. As a chef I have a problem with having to see all food trucks by far the best cuban. I can't forget that tamal on the special!.

Just discovered this awesome new spot called Salsa Cubana and I’m obsessed! I had the Papa Rellena, a crispy, deep-fried mashed potato ball stuffed with super tasty seasoned ground beef. And for something sweet, we grabbed the Torrejas, which are like fried French toast and totally amazing. The food is seriously authentic, and the owners were so friendly, we had the best chat! Can’t wait to go back and try everything else!

The most authentic! I ordered the combo with Congri, cerdo asado , Cuban tamale, and papa relleno ordered separately. each bursting with Cuban flavors in every bite, the cerdo asada was very tender and delicious ! Made to order, fast friendly service with a smile! 5/5 recommend! I will be back!

I left work I need it to order some food and I decided to visit their food truck and I don’t regret it at all. FOOD WAS AMAZING !!!! the Cuban pizza, meal( Rice, pork and tamales)and desserts had an authentic taste it was so enjoyable. I recommend them 10/10!

I recently visited the Salsa Cubana food truck and had an incredible experience! I ordered the classic combo of rice and beans with roast pork, along with a traditional Cuban tamale. I also tried the potato ball stuffed with seasoned minced beef—everything was absolutely bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection. The pork was tender and well-seasoned, the rice and beans were rich and comforting, and the potato ball was crispy on the outside with a savory filling inside. Not only was the food outstanding, but the staff made the experience even better. They were warm, polite, and welcoming, which really added to the overall vibe. It’s clear they put a lot of care into both the food and the service. Bowling Green has been missing authentic Cuban cuisine, and Salsa Cubana has definitely filled that gap! I’m so grateful they brought this amazing food to our community. Highly recommend to anyone looking for delicious, homemade-style Cuban dishes—you won’t be disappointed!

Excellent food! Definitely a gem hiding right across from WKU! Cubano and roasted pork with tamale, rice and beans. Flavors were fantastic and the service was impeccable! Top of my list when visiting my daughter at WKU!
